Cold Water Creek Fire

This month, 24 families who were residents of Coldwater Creek lost everything when a massive fire destroyed their apartment building. As soon as our community heard the news, donations poured in for those impacted by the fires. Clothing, household supplies, food, gift cards, and monetary donations flooded into drop off locations across the city as the community rallied together to provide for those in their time of greatest need. 

Thanks to the generosity of our Southside family, we were able to provide gift cards and financial support to all 24 families. In just one month we raised over $25,000 in cash and gift cards for those affected by the fires! This outpouring of love and support from our Southside family to those in need is the perfect example of what it looks like to be FOR the 478. We are so proud of what our Southside family has done to love their community this month, and we can’t wait to share all of the other amazing ways that our church is FOR the 478.
